idk I’m not from the us but i think these are pretty common?
hole is just there for making production easierI mean, it’s also a Euro plug with US pins. I’ve never seen that mashup before. 🤷♀️

There is the occasional round one out there, but they wouldn’t have “the France hole”.
technology connections made a video on it, none of the sockets actually use the holes, and ones that do, do it unintentionally
