Do you agree with DirtFish’s rankings for last weekend’s outing in Portugal for the Rally1 drivers?
It was great to see Tanak do so well finally. He’s had some rotten luck the past few seasons and deserves to be in the title fight just as much as Evans and Neuville.
While they didn’t podium this time around, I continue to be impressed with how Adrian Fourmaux is handling is role as nearly the sole point-scorer for M-sport month after month.

I would agree pretty closely with pretty much all of the rankings. It was good to see Tänak get a little more comfortable with the car, hopefully that continues. I doubt he’ll ever get completely comfortable since it’s obviously still Neuville’s car and team, but maybe he’ll be able to work around that to get some wins this season.
Adrian is much improved since his last WRC stint, I hope he continues in that direction. We’re going to need some more good drivers when the current crop retire or go part time.
I continue to be frustrated with the amount of hybrid issues nearly every rally, I really hope it disappears in the future. Either that or let the manufacturers make it themselves, because the failure rate is atrocious.
