My typical morning breakfast stalwart. Oatmeal and banana microwaved with frozen berries added to it. Sometimes I add date syrup or use other fruit.

    Nice! What kind of oats do you like? I’ve been getting into steel cut lately, but the quicker ones are great for putting breakfast together quickly. Your oats looks delicious!

      Thanks! These are 5 minute oats, I prefer steel cut too but these are so fast. I like 5 minute better than the quick cooking. It is 1 cup oats, 2 cups water, a banana microwaved until it cooks up then I add frozen blueberries and some date syrup if I have.

    That’s a good name for this dish! Do you use frozen berries due to availability or are they better than fresh in this recipe?

      yeah I pretty much only use frozen blueberries because they are always available where I live and fresh. I don’t defrost them I put them frozen into the hot oatmeal and they instantly defrost
