Stop worrying about whether your idea is “good enough.” Get your hands dirty and do the hard work of developing it.

My version of this is “It doesn’t matter if it’s any good. It matters that it’s done.”
I’m reminded of Jim Butcher writing a six book series just to prove the point that a stupid idea can become a good book.
“The lost Roman Legion plus Pokemon” is a pretty stupid idea.
“Codex Alera” is a damn good series. I can’t get into Dresden Files at all, but I ate this one right up.
