    I still don’t get it. There are communities that got and still get much worse that aren’t that “sensitive”. And I don’t want to downplay the absolute horror that was the holocaust, that shit is beyond description, but like jews make up 35% of all holocaust victims. And that’s just the holocaust, not sure why we hyperfixate on it, as if there weren’t more equally horrific mass genocides happening at the same time. They aren’t the only ones that got the sudden mass genocide treatment, it was kinda the thing all around the globe at the time.

    What I’m trying to say is, of course they need and deserve support, but not at any and all cost. And definitely not over all the other people that also need it.

    Just to give at least one example to the above, we still refuse the Romani people basic human rights all over the world. To this very day, used to be much worse. We even still casually call them the equivalent of the N word, just for good measure.
