Netanyahu says half, so we can expect that to be a massively inflated figure to make Israel look good. The Gaza Health Ministry can’t even keep an accurate death toll anymore, so the real number is a mystery, but I would expect that a large majority of deaths would be civilian. Especially considering how many children have been killed, and how trigger-happy the IDF seems to be.

If you ask me, indiscriminately bombing civilian and militant targets is never justified, especially when you’re dealing with a population facing such extreme desperation. That only happens if you don’t consider the civilians as equal humans. A lot of Zionists I’ve seen online have given up on justifying it, too, and are now resorting to unmasked racism and slurs to describe Palestinians and justify their continued mass slaughter.
