Just seeing this makes me want to play again. I spent hundreds of hours on my GameCube with so many different characters. Never really enjoyed (M)MORPGs but PSO was my exception to the rule

The music and sounds from this game are burned into my brain. I can still hear the loading screen warble sound and the music from the Pioneer 2 as you’d wait for your friends to join in while shopping. Hold on I gotta feed my mag.
