The “you wouldn’t download a car” anti-piracy campaign remains one of the greatest things that ever happened, because we all collectively said, “the fuck we wouldn’t.” It was a real bonding moment. The tape warning was less OTT but it was still fun to threaten to show idk, The Little Mermaid in a stadium to spite the feds.

Another good one if you rip the DVD for Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog, there’s a hidden message from the Evil League of Evil:

    “Only Winners Use Drugs.”

    -William Sessions, F.B.I.

    On every attract screen.

Yeah I may have misremembered some of it.

I remember the first time the computer had an “illegal exception” when I was up to no good on it.

Kept waiting for the door to break in for the rest of the day.

FBI should issue more public service warnings, just feels cozy. Even if you are copying that floppy or whatever it’s vaguely pleasant to know Mulder and Scully are keeping busy

Ah, nothing like bullying every paying customer, just so they know for sure how much you despise them.

Remember the game NARC? It had a big FBI logo at the beginning with the phrase “winners don’t use drugs” under it, and the whole premise of the game was just to shoot junkies in the face lol
