not surprised. this is the same company that trained their ai on so many things on the internet without explicit consent, and they made billions off of it. they will continue to do whatever they want, unfortunately.

An AI cultists will defend it every time as “Nothing anyone can do, it’s inevitable that they’ll just keep abusing people’s privacy and data.” as if it’s some force of nature that just “happens”.

Getting deja vu from when FB was revealed to be collecting mass data and there were people defending it and making it sound like there was no way to do anything about it.

I’m not an AI cultist in the slightest, but what can we honestly do about this? I try to protect my privacy online as much as I am willing to, but there should be laws in place to curb this behavior… and no, im not talking about these pathetic fines they hit with when they knowingly break the law.

This is a double edged sword. Keep giving copyright holders more protections and power and they will come after everyone.

Remember when the RIAA was suing college students and grandmothers over downloading music

What happens if I can make something in the style of. Is that ok or can any large corporation or private individual wreck my life for it? Artistic licence should be protected. Making something sound like Batman without it being Batman is artistic licence

Also, yes AI got trained by what was on the web. So were we! Would you like to pay for anything and everything on the web? Because that is where this will end up. Sony, Scarlett Johansen and Metallica are NOT your friends, even if one has tits
