    Again.

You lost count. How many times now? Five? Ten?

    Does it even matter?

You remember the first time you died. You were on your way to work, dreading stepping into this cramped office, with Melinda greeting you all to eagerly, with her high pitched voice and unwanted “accidental” touches. It’s obvious she has a crush on you but you would rather die alone (which you do quiet regularly these days) than to ever even consider this option. Or Jeff, who somehow got to be your supervisor, although he doesn’t even know how to get the coffee machine to work. Seems to be nice, if your dad happens to be the Owner of the business you “work” in. He always makes sure everyone in this building gets reminded daily who is in charge here, especially you. You dont know why but he seems to hate you with all his heart. Jeff puts a lot of effort into bullying you. If only the money was good.

There was only one thought in your head this day.

    “I wish I could die.”

And so you did. You felt a sudden pain inside your head and not long after, your Vision blacked out. You were dead before you even hit the ground.

What you didn’t expect was, that you’d wake up again, in your own bed, inside your chaotic 1 bedroom flat, gasping for air, trembling. What was going on?

You still don’t know what’s going on but you somehow got used to dieing. If you would call it “getting used”.

There is no set time, nor place. It just happens. It could happen right after getting resurrected. On the way to the grocery store. One time, you died while sitting on the toilet. “Elvis Style” you chuckle after gaining a new breeze of life.

All you want to know right know is either how to stop dropping dead or how to stay dead.

Maybe the answer to this is right around the corner.
