Why plan? Run for office. If your stances and policies are good then you get the spot. Not once have I voted for someone based on their sexuality, gender, religion, race, etc. those things should not matter in a politician as long as they are not bringing those things into their policy making to bring down others i.e. Christian Republicans and basing shit on Bible class
For their perspective, other minorities do the same thing and it helps to know the same issues yourself rather than just see it externally.
Yo just make the + include straight and you’ll get a pretty big increase in numbers
I was hoping it involved a comical plot involving some junior Senators going full Magic Mike in the middle of a Foreign Relations committee meeting. It all goes off the rails when thry can’t sneak the disco lighting in.
More LGBTQ+ members of congress won’t give us a seat at the table. We don’t need representation in government, we need people to represent the working class, and that won’t come from anyone within a party that places capital before people.
