After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton), Lydia’s (Winona Ryder) life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid (Jenna Ortega), discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.

Keaton did Batman decades ago, then did it again.

He did Beetlejuice decades ago, and is doing it again.

He also did "Birdman,’ a movie about an actor who feels trapped by a silly pop culture character he played decades ago.

    Nope, nothing weird here.

I was wondering why they killed off Jeffery Jones’ character, Lydia’s dad. Since they brought back practically the entire rest of the main cast. That was until I checked Wikipedia. Welp, didn’t know that somehow.

Also somehow he’s still getting work after that. Wtf.

Following leads in an investigation of Paul Reubens, Jones was arrested in 2002 for possession of child pornography and soliciting a 14-year-old boy to produce sexually explicit images between September 2000 to May 2001.[37][38][39] Jones photographed the child, and paid him to pose nude on multiple occasions wearing a cowboy hat, with stuffed animals, and dressed as a Native American.[40] Jones surrendered himself and was released on bond prior to arraignment.[41] Jones pleaded not guilty to the possession charge[42] and no contest to a charge of soliciting a minor. The victim initiated a separate civil action against Jones seeking damages and compensation.[43] The misdemeanor charge of possession of child pornography was dropped following the no contest plea.[44] His attorney emphasized that there was no allegation of improper physical contact. His punishment was five years’ probation, counseling, and the requirement to register as a sex offender.
