If guardians wish to implement a vegan diet, it is recommended that commercial foods are used.”
I would expect vegans to understand that non-human animals can’t consent to changes to their natural habits.
Agreed, that’s why I’m against breeding further pets. Any form of being a pet is against an animals natural habits. But while some pets do exist, it’s best to take care of them while doing as little harm to animals as possible.

Nothing about dogs are natural. They are our genetic experiment as a species.
So the dog is right, it doesn’t have to goto the vet or be toilet trained.
