Yeah that was nuts; I went to move my car into the garage and damn near got knocked over by the rain
Water penetrated my apartment at the baseboard where I lay my mattress. The bottom of my mattress is completely soaked. It’s supposed to be more of this all week.
Also, what size is your mattress. I’m trying to get rid of a daybed and a twin size mattress. You’re welcome to them.

How did that happen? Just from rain? Or was there standing water on the other side of that wall? At my son’s house there was water on the floor in the middle of his bathroom and we can’t figure out where it came from.
Seems like it penetrated the water barrier at some point and found its way there. I couldn’t tell you without looking at your son’s house, and I’d be the least qualified person to guesstimate anyway.

Just got power back here in Addison.
Still going 20 hours of no power over here. Also have 3 uprooted med-large trees that are downed. Thank fully they didn’t damage the house.
