A restaurant would rather sell you a $14 half pound burger than a $7 quarter pound burger. The only fry option is a plateful for $6. Or you can upgrade to a side salad for $3 more.
Some people just suck. Hopefully this teaches your friend how not to treat people.

There is no backlash and there will be no backlash. A few people, maybe even a few Republicans, will question it to the press, but certainly will not directly question their orange Jesus.
Just had this conversation with my honey. People think it’s intelligent and it’s really just data gathering, which is only as good as the data, and it doesn’t discern facts from crap. Search engines have become so horrible. It now takes three times as long to wade through the bs to find an actual answer.

I met a guy named Sam Pate. He was a radio guy in Dallas in the 60s and was live on the air when it happened. People love to watch/listen to babies and puppies sleep and coo and snore. Sleeping things look more peaceful.

Guy goes to the news stand every morning, looks at the stack, grumbles, and walks away. One day the seller asks him what he’s looking for.
“An obituary.”
“Obituaries are at the back, not on the front page.”
“The one I’m looking for will be.”
