Stopped for a stretch and a photo, odd she didn’t idle, but what harm, 30 years old, nope she had broke down right here, got her going again, no go again next vilage, thinking it’s the enforced winter slumber, rode home hard, 240kmh, 13krpm in 5th (not enought space for 6th) and pulled in home and idled like nothing ever went wrong.

I noticed as well early on in the ride that it wasn’t as smooth on tiny throttle openings, prettty sure it’s related, so some fresh fuel tomorrow and oh no, I’ll have to go for another test ride. :D

        How long does it sit?

Fuel loves to gum up on bikes, partly because of heat, partly because they sit (carbs).

General rule with a bike - use things like gas stabilizers, or drain the carb when parking and add some fresh gas.

A carb guru I know swears by 1/2 ounce of 2 cycle oil in the gas tank, and a short ride, just before parking. This helps prevent fuel gumming up in the carb.

Longer then I like, hate cleaning it, so we only go out when it’s dry. I don’t live in a very dry place…

You might want to get your roof looked at. Looks like there might be a little wind damage
