    Five years later:

“To remove Mormon’s name from the Lord’s Church is a major victory for Satan. When we discard Mormon’s name, we are subtly disregarding all that the ancient prophets did for us—even the Book of Mormon.”

Well f**k, back to church I guess!

Edit* some filter or another got mad at me for language

Edit again** Not sure exactly the problem. When I try to make a new comment on exmormon I get an error “language_not_allowed” I assumed swearing but maybe it’s something on my end. Seems I can edit my comments. Ah well. I’m new here still working it all out.

Because it IS obnoxious. I live in Canada, in southern Alberta, which is basically part of the jello belt (morridor). I have never heard anyone take exception to using the word Mormon. And definitely not by pretending it doesn’t apply.

The thing that drove me crazy about this, how much money did they spend on a major victory for Satan?

Lowest number I’ve seen is $16.1 million, which is enough to feed and/or house how many people? But this shit ran for 8 years worldwide, no way it doesn’t cost 100’s of millions.

Or they could have invested it! Think of all the growth it could have seen.

You know when the people who are only tangentially associated with the church can tell you’re lying it looks bad. It’s not something awesome people do.
