Steam needs to pull this from the store and start issuing refunds.
Yeah, it’s a shame that the sequel to Kerbal Space Program was treated like this. Fuck Take-Two for spoiling this and likely causing huge amounts of stress for the people at IG with all their corporate nonsense.
I understand Early Access programs operate under caveat emptor, but it’s nasty to see them used by large companies like Take-Two in this way.
Steam should bleed Take-Two like a pig and issue refunds for everyone who asks regardless of playtime.
Agreed. As a fan, I’m sad to hear about “Intercept Games’ impending demise”, but they should do the right thing and pull from Steam.
Take Two, fuck you. You’re dead to me. I’ll die before I ever buy another Take Two game, be it Civ, GTA, or anything published by these fucking vultures.
Welcome to the club, Take Two has been on my shitlist since they tried to sue modders or whatever the hell that was back in like 2017. I barely even remember why I hate them any more, I only remember deciding to boycott.
I thought it would be hard to ignore all the GTA6 news but it’s actually quite easy by just remembering everything they’ve been doing in recent years.
I heard an interview with the creator of KSP1 and it made me even sadder about the death of this game. His next plan was basically Kerbal Aeronautics Program, where you’d build progressively bigger and faster airplanes to accomplish missions. I could see it growing into a game franchise, kind of like how SimCity had a bunch of similar simulator games with different premises.
Anyways, I’ve gotta go rescue Jeb again.
Looks like Eurogamer’s a bit behind, it’s been a month since the negative Steam reviews started flowing in.
I hope they open-source the game, rather than abandon it.
Like betting when you got a 2 and a 3 of different suits. A corpo would rather die than give up an asset like an IP… more likely, they’ll sell the IP if they really needed to.
You’re probably right. I bet they’ll try to make all the profit they can on the game in its unfinished state until they can’t anymore.
Yeah, it’s pretty sad to see yet another developer die at the hands of incompetent AAA publishers.
