Alright, cards on the table, I’m not a conservative. I’m just curious.

I imagine this really doesn’t change anything for those of you who were already planning to vote for Trump, is that accurate?

I peaked over at reddits conservative… And this verdict has not only not dissuaded them… But has emboldened them. This “proves” we are in a Banana Republic and that the system is against trump

        So we have:

        • if he did something, special counsel would find something
        • if he did something, he would be impeached
        • if he did something, he would be charged with a crime
        • if he did something, he would be tried
        • if he did something, he would be convicted
        • well, those things happened, but it is a banana republic

Keep in mind that there are 3 more trials left. Also that Cohen already spent 3 years in jail for helping Trump commit this exact crime.

What is more likely? That almost entire world (including 12 jurors that were vetted by his defense) set against him and decided to lie and cheat to get an innocent man convicted, or that he maybe it is just him who lies and cheats?

So the major thread they have to hang on is that these would normally be misdemeanors not Felonies. But the NY DA made them felonies due the timing of the election cycle back when this happened as it could have damaged Trumps campaign. IANAL.

NPR Politics Podcast did a good explanation of this appeal and forecasted this is the most likely appeal. That and the botched juror instructions.

Unfortunately, Cohen was charged federally for different crimes. Don’t get me work Trump should go to jail. But, Cohen wasn’t charged with the same crime.

I was going to vote for him anyways. It’s very obvious some of these misdemeanors were upgraded to felonies only because he’s Trump.

do you find that as a representative of Family Values™ his affair with Stormy Daniels sets a good example for the families of our bestest nation and that his Competent Leadership™ of committing business fraud to cover it up makes him a trustworthy leader?

This doesn’t rank high in my priorities. You’ll need to ask an actual conservative - Trump and I aren’t conservatives.

Though, I’m thinking you’re a bad faith jackass looking through your comments and the sarcastic approach to your questioning.

Are you really out here trying to own the MAGAs? Lmao

That’s a lot of words to not answer either question. You don’t have to be conservative to have some opinion on families and I would imagine anyone voting for somebody would be able to answer why they think their candidate was competent.

I explained why. And you’re not asking in good faith either.

I would imagine anyone voting for somebody would be able to answer why they think their candidate was competent.

People vote on certain issues and the ones you mentioned aren’t interesting to me. And competency is only your opinion. You hate people who are voting for Trump so why are you pretending like you really care to know the answers to these questions?

Sure sounds like I’m important or something. I’m honoured that you place my inconsequential comment on the same weight as the Trump news.

Or is it rather that you don’t feel strongly about the Trump news? This is pretty indicative, gotta say.

Maybe you shouldn’t link to a mental disorder to insult people.

          1. Mental health is like any other health issues. People struggle with it every day.
          2. You are not a psychiatrist and you are further stygmatizing an already badly accepted topic in our society.

It’s always the people who aren’t part of the mentioned group jumping to their defense.

Do you think left-leaning people with BPD are unhappy at the news about Trump? Certainly seems like you know them better than they do themselves.

But of course, if you’re unhappy with the Trump news that would explain a lot. That’s one of the reasons you’d be on this community in the first place after all, makes perfect sense.

You realize we all knew about it before you posted it, right? Sounds like a BPD delusion if I ever saw one… and I have.

Most people agree with the verdict. I would imagine most non MAGA conservatives are part of that group.

You aren’t some heroic town crier giving us our first revelation that the old cheesebucket was found guilty. This is the internet, you’re a rando, and it’s old news already.

I’ve seen BPD completely destroy 2 people’s lives, and I’m watching it do its best to take down a third right now.

So you wanna fling BPD around? You’re overtly showing multiple red flags for it.

Black and White world view, Projection of behavior, Projection of mentality, Getting defensive and offensive when people disagree with you, Assuming people accept or reject all your ideas as a whole, Dictating with certainty how others think or feel, I can go on if that isn’t enough.

I’m very serious: BPD -will- ruin your life. I’m guessing a self diagnosis has at least been considered at some point. Go get a second opinion. There is a point of no return and it -will- try to sneak up on you.

And just for the record, I’ve been saying this day will come since 2021. I can disagree with parts of your personality and opinions while agreeing with others. It’s not an all or nothing thing. BPD does make it feel that way sometimes though.
