Honestly, just luck 😅 Wordlebot said I had 66 words left after my first word. I just happened to guess correct.
spoilers for today's Wordle and my play process
My first few guesses I go with distinct letters. I usually start with a random starting word but for the past few days I’ve been sticking to TULIP because it’s the name of a cat dear to me.
After seeing the I in the 4th place, I ran through some letter combinations until I found a suitable word. BASIN has all distinct letters so I went with it.
Since I play hard mode, with experience I’ve become conscious of trick letter combinations where you can get stuck like _ATCH (watch, patch, hatch, latch, catch, batch, match) so I avoid those combos unless absolutely necessary.
