To be fair, they’re both good players and fit the style pretty well, and would be relatively cheaper. I can see it happening honestly. I don’t think at least Sambi is Bayern level though.
Yeah agreed. Zinny would fit them well, and he’s a quality player (shame about his injuries and him occasionally switching off while defending). But them going for Lokonga just has my head spinning. He had a very good loan spell with Luton in the secon half of this past season. But there’s a gulf in purchase power and prestige between Bayern Munich and Luton Town.
Kompany really rates Lokonga even before we signed him.
Tbf, I think Lokonga will be quite good. But he’s still quite raw especially for his age, and it’s literally Bayern.

I could imagine a scenario where the English women’s team doesn’t qualify for Euros…complacency is an issue. Mary Earps also went out injured, Khiara Keating could actually pull a “Mary Earps” and usurp the position.
Apparently Everton is having a fire sale, with everyone in their squad available for the right price. So maybe Amadou Onana might not be as far-fetched a transfer target as I had previously assumed.
Aside from him, who else in their squad is worth a look for us? The only other one I can think that might be is Dominic Calvert-Lewin. But his injury issues alone make that seem like a deal not worth taking (not to mention that I don’t think he’s any better than Eddie, let alone the calibre we need to push to the next level).

I feel bad for Dortmund. They were so dominant in the 1st half but just couldn’t score. Then they seemed tired in the 2nd half, and with Real’s adjustments they just sort of wore them down and finished them off.
