Yes. It’s a pretty popular meme that when you find the beacon in game it is very loud. I was cutting this Jicama and inadvertently cut it in the shape of the beacon.

My mother used to peel apples and potatoes this way. It’s rather more wasteful than using an actual peeler. I like the kind where you jam it on there and spin the crank and it turns the skin into a spiral ribbon.
Unfortunately the skin is too thick to use a peeler. It has a rind similar to watermelon.
