Does anyone know whether Lemmy.graphics is defederated from kbin? Its communities don’t show up in search.
I don’t think it would be defederated? I can’t seem to search it up either though. These bug reports could be relevant:
- Federation issue between kbin.social and lemdro.id #637
- Federated community is not fetched by search, if its name is featured on thread/post already present on instance #499
The first one says that the problem was introduced in lemmy 0.18, but lemmy.graphics is still on 0.17.3, so I’m not sure exactly what’s going on in this case.
I see, thanks. Hopefully it changes once they’ve updated.
In Spanish there is also https://eslemmy.es
Yep, that one is in the main list in the pinned post. Do you know if it should be associated specifically with Spain, or just the Spanish language in general?
Oh, my bad, I didn’t realize this was the list of the added ones.
Do you know if it should be associated specifically with Spain, or just the Spanish language in general?
I would leave as “Spanish language” because the description says “La comunidad de lemmy en español” (“The lemmy community in Spanish”). Although looking at the communities, it seems to be more focused on Spain.
Alright, I think I’ll leave it where it is for now. It can always be moved later if the focus shifts.
I am hosting a topic specialized instance that’s open to the public, it’s literature.cafe
it’s a lil empty right now but adding more comms and federating some communities into it
It’s for book lovers and writers (and really anyone else)I’m currently getting this when trying to load it:
Error!
There was an error on the server. Try refreshing your browser. If that doesn’t work, come back at a later time. If the problem persists, you can seek help in the Lemmy support community or Lemmy Matrix room.
Once things are running smoothly, please make a new thread (not comment) to announce it so that people subscribed to this magazine will see it.
Looks like it’s working now. Go ahead and announce it, and then I’ll add it to the list.
Sounds good, and good luck with it. :)
