Gustavo Santaolalla has seemingly confirmed that The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is on the way for PS5.

      It’s probably a minor update to be PS5 native with small content additions. It will probably hit PC eventually too.

          I would also love a PC release of TLoU2. I keep my PS4 around for 2 games – TLoU2 and Ghost of Tsushima. Hoping GoT is coming soon as well.

                Yeah I feel half and half about it, myself. I think mostly because I just don’t want another repeat of TLOU2s fan reception.

                But also definitely because I think the story for Ellie and Abby is over. It’s a perfect duology. Ellie was taught negative behaviors to survive by multiple poor infuences and Abbys’ Dad was murdered. Part 2 resolves both of those conflicts by teaching both people that their ways aren’t correct. The only tbmhing I can see coming from TLOU3 is a rando villain attacks Jackson and a silly war breaks out.

                But that narrative point should come before Ellie learns the lesson against violence. We’ll see.

      That’s really the only reason to ‘remaster’ it. It’ll also be the only way I play it because the newest console I own is a PS3. Part 1 was great on that!

          I’ve currently been playing the first Horizon (very slowly…) and it’s pretty awesome. Hoping Forbidden West will be ported as well. Most likely it will, eventually. I have so much patience (and lack of actual time), I’ll just wait for these console games to come to PC and play them then.
