Misleading title in the pic. I was thinking there’d be absolutely nothing standing if they had surpassed the whole of WW2

The real answer is because he had Zionism drilled into his head when he was a child and was brainwashed into thinking that a Jewish state in Palestine is righteous and that Israel is only able to be the victim (him being born in the middle of WW2 and all), and it’s completely impossible for him to stop supporting Israel’s genocide of Palestinians or to do anything else that goes against that view, it conflicts with what he thinks about Israel.

Biden has ALWAYS been extremely problematic with Israel/Palestine, he’s had this exact same stance for decades and has supported some of the worst crimes the US has ever committed against Palestinians.

far surpassing the combined total dropped on Dresden

Remember, they aren’t fighting the Nazis, just some innocent civilians. Bombs aren’t effective against terrorist organizations at all, it’s just a blatant lie.

Gaza is pretty much the size of a big city in terms of area size

That being said, the bombs dropped on Dresden were incendiary and they estimate 25,000 people died, similar to Gaza (despite the poundage difference)

Edit: about 20,000 people in London, 37,000 in Hamburg. Very similar to Gaza.

Lots of variables to consider and not sure if it truly matters/is a productive topic to discuss. The bombs on Dresden were probably much less accurate/more random, but in return it also had far fewer inhabitants (roughly 630k at the time, less now).

For me looking it up it was kind of suprising though, how close the area size is between the two. I knew Gaza was small, but the direct comparison helps to put it into perspective, especially when you consider that they can’t really leave.

Hamburg has about 750 squarekilometers (it’s quite huge, I live here), Gaza has about 360 squarekilometers.

      You do the math.
