Interesting information and accurate but this is not what’s useful for playing Scrabble
Actually useful things for every Scrabble player to memorize:
- The full list of 2-letter words
- The full list of words that have “Q” but not “U”
- Have some familiarity with common bingos (7-letter words)
If you wanted to proceed from there, you could study the 3-letter words, and expand your study of the bingos and expand it to 8-letter words.
Well aren’t you going to feel foolish the next time you hit the odds on the 1-in-347,222,222,222 chance you draw MUZJIKS for your opening draw but only play KUMIS like a dumb peasant.
Wouldn’t the currency be a proper noun, and therefore invalid?
The currency is sometimes considered a proper noun, the individual denominations are always considered common nouns.
if I’m working on the stock exchange I might track the value of the Dollar (a proper noun). If I’m buying from your lemonade stand I’d give you a dollar (a common noun).
likewise the Ouguiya is worth about 1/400th of the US Dollar. If you go to the bank, they could give you a 1 ouguiya coin.
