Araxxor was one of my favorite bosses in rs3, glad its finally coming to osrs! And can’t wait to see the osrs twist on the boss

Only thing iam not totally sure about is the crafting requirement for the new bis necklace. Kinda weird for the torture to be 98 when the new bis is 80.

Either the necklace should drop as is, without needing crafting. It should be a upgrade for the torture, or maybe they should rework the crafting lvls of the zenyte jewelry. Because as seen here, there’s not many crafting lvls to work with above lvl 98.

Agreed. I’ve always felt that the torture had a weird level req that they made back when as a “we won’t ever have a stronger necklace” thought

It’s the same deal with the blowpipe - they didn’t know how long osrs would be around then later on had to nerf it to fit more shit in.

To make one from scratch you’ll need 92 slayer to receive the item, 8X crafting to create it and 90hp to use it so I feel there’s plenty of requirements for it… Though I still think it should require tort as base item just to keep the zenytes relevant

Let’s be real and say 90 hp isn’t a real requirement and 80 something crafting is laughable because a glory itself is 85

I’d be fine with more paths to bis gear but 92 slayer isn’t equal to 98 crafting. Slayer is stereotypically the most popular skill and that’s why we’re getting the ten millionth slayer update. The problem isn’t that 92 slayer isn’t high - the problem is that the item they chose has shit reqs already.

I don’t think we should keep feeding items in fear of making old ones irrelevant. It keeps you from being able to create different paths for accounts and I personally hate holding onto random crap for fear I’ll need them on the iron.
