No first time leaks of classified material, and no direct publication of classified material. You may link to already published classified material that is hosted elsewhere and already publicly available for the purpose of discussing or commenting on it, but not if you are affiliated in any way with the person who originally leaked it. (Example: Your friend stealing tank blueprints from his job, uploading to dropbox, and then you linking would not be ok. On the other hand, posting a video from Twitter by the Ukrainian SBU sharing classified materials they stole from Poland would be fine.)

Original Posts should be in some way related to warfare, intelligence, or espionage. Posts about military hardware, military culture, and generally having war related themes are OK. Some political OPs will be tolerated if they’re very closely related to ongoing or probable future wars, but please try to keep the focus on military and spy shit.

No serious hatespeech that isn’t clearly identifiable as a joke. You can repeat hatespeech of others for the purpose of mocking them or commenting on their views (like using remove kebab memes, or sharing that a Russian general said civilians should be forced into labor camps) but not for the purpose of actually pushing the message that we need to purge Lithuanians to preserve the French master race or whatever. If it becomes very difficult to tell whether you are joking or I get the idea you’re forming a far right hive while pretending to be joking, it will be censored.

You’re welcome here no matter if you’re a retired Leninist NKVD officer or a Rhodesian death squaddie, but you are NOT welcome to build your own political cliques and wage wars to the detriment of other users. The point of this community is MAXIMUM FUNNI not feeding into your personal kulturekampf. We will not be part of some fucking annoying political chess match between Tweedledumb and Tweedledumber

(More of a guideline) Original Posts should generally be in some way Dubious or Noncredible. We’re all about the fun wacky side of organized mass violence here, and too many seriousposts can turn it into a boring place. We need some level of seriousposting to drive fresh ideas into the meming, but please try to limit how many of your posts are of a serious nature.

No porn, it’s against Straylight.social’s rules. They don’t have the manpower to moderate it and neither do we. As much as I love pornography and other vices, I just don’t want to deal with randomly finding CSAM here and having to fill out a ton of paperwork to notify the FBI.

You are part of an elite club of those who were drawn here by their appreciation of higher culture such as the Aerogavin and big tittied anime catgirls. Your fellow DD Posters are your fraternal Brothers and Sisters. Treat each other with the respect owed to beings of higher society, and rest soundly at night knowing you are vastly superior to the legions of dim witted fools who do not even know the true meaning of the word “Aardvark”.
