Thou shall not covet dovetails nicely with the adultery thing, because somebody was coveting some body.
“Thou shalt not covet” is just impossible to obey for everyone. It’s not possible to go through life and never see anything someone else has and wish you had it but you can’t get it. Even if you’re Elon Musk, that happens sometimes.
Musk coveted Twitter, and we all know how well that went…
