Little experiment: This image should be automatically blurred for you even though I didn’t set the NSFW flag. Lmk if it’s not. :)

    Same tonight!

If I open Lemmy through Jerboa, then it is blurred. If I open with Connect, it is unblurred. I think there are still some growing pains with the mobile apps. Haha.

      Thanks for the report!

Alright, well until there’s some predictability in how blurs are handled, I guess the safest bet is to manually NSFW everything. Oof.

Oops, I didn’t write that well. Connect doesn’t blur at all, even if it’s tagged NSFW. I’ve checked my settings and the blur feature just doesn’t work with Connect. Which really sucks, because I like it’s layout better than Jerboa, but that’s a deal breaker for me. Haha. I’m sticking with Jerboa for now.

What did you do to make it blur without tagging nsfw?

I set the whole sub as NSFW!

So Lemmy probably thinks we’re a porn sub now, lol. And I assume the default behavior would therefore be to blur everything.

Which it is in the browser, as far as I can tell, but the apps are still pretty inconsistent. So for the time being, I think the safest course of action is just to manually porn-flag everything. -.- Not an ideal solution, but the best we can do until Lemmy gives us spoiler post flairs.

Jerboa stopped working for me altogether! Don’t know why, but it crashed on startup, over and over. So now I’m on Connect, too. :)

Oh no, I hope it doesn’t crash for me. :/ Does Connect blur everything for me? Maybe Connect thinks I want that porn content. Connect is judging me, it seems. :P
