Very cool, but how many holes do you see in knitwear that are perfectly oblong with no ripped ends?
If it’s like that you make the darning larger than the hole (useful for reinforcement) or irregular in shape (useful for spreading out/reducing the strain on the edges)
I’m not a knitter, but that’s really impressive.

There is a Japanese style that isnt Sashiko/boro that provides similar results.
