And I feel they had enough support that they might have been able to kick off some kind of copyright reform movement, or at least some kind of law to deal with the bad-faith DMCA takedown crap.

Eh, It’s mostly due to internal struggles than copyright, Ben (Nail’s VA and CEO of TFS and the time) and the other guys had many disagreements on how the company should go after the cell saga ended
