      There are two problems

      1. dodgy over leveraged builders
      2. really fucking expensive construction materials

      It’s getting hard to tell which builders are suffering from which problems

      I went to buy a 14x14" plastic access panel for my ceiling the other day and it’s literally $50

    Niche of course it is. I feel for people in this situation. Though I do feel like if the consumers had done even the slightest bit of investigation they would have realised they are shitty and have been shitty for a long time.
