What’s its name? I’ve seen some before, but rarely. Once every few years or so. Thanks

Edit: the likeliest candidate is an Old House Borer without antennae.

    The lack of antennae is confusing.

    Also, while searching, didn’t realize fireflies were beetles.

      And yeah, fireflies are weird. Beautiful, but weird.

    I bet when that was a larvae it spent it’s time gnawing through some dead wood;)
