That was interesting, especially her trying to find and report to us all the mistakes she did, very cool!

I wish I saw this before buying sunscreen a couple days ago

I bought and used Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 and it felt great but wasn’t worth buying in the first place because the SPF is so low. I bought it as I thought it was a good value but after being burnt I would have preferred to have spent more to get sunscreen that actually protected me

Unless you’re already tanned or dark skinned, SPF 15 is pretty useless. Actually, I think SPF 15 is almost useless regardless.

When Choice tested, 4 out of 6 didn’t meet their SPF claims. You can see who they tested in the smh article.

I like the Cancer Council Active (grey one). It’s not greasy/thick feeling, and actually dries on your skin. Mainly use for outdoor activities/sports.

And while it’s a bit more expensive than budget sunscreens, it’s a lot less than a lot of sunscreens. Check out the prices on some of those she tested. Holy cost of living crisis, Batman!

And I feel like I’m helping a bit by my money going to the Cancer Council.
