Since Apex launched, I bought a 1 time purchase of AC and have been putting that towards battle passes ever since. If you just completed the battle pass track, you would earn the AC you spent on it and some more back, without having to put more real $ in. This has kept me hooked for a while. But now it sounds like that’s not possible any more. If so, thank you EA. My addiction is broken. I am free.
“Ruined” seems a bit dramatic, no? Game still plays exactly the same with these changes, just don’t buy the Battle pass and do the free tier
Yeah, just sucks that they’re clearly trying to extract cash without any real improvements to the game. I say this as someone who has dropped entirely too much money into the game because I want to support it. Smells of skeez.
Games as a service has always been a scam.
