Went to a smaller town the other day and got on a bus. Bus had like 5 people maybe. Every time someone went off the bus, the driver shouted to the back “have a nice day”. Made me smile.

nothing much just met an old friend. it was fun hanging out with him after 1 year.
besides that I learned Perl and Bash. today I am starting to learn C# reading the book “C# Programming Yellow Book”. It’s been fun.
Not too bad. Took some time off and my sleep has never been better.
Fine? I’m off work for the next week on a staycation - we’re looking at houses again this evening. I’m in my 40s and may finally buy something instead of renting like I have since college.

Wife started a new job on Monday, so I have had to adjust my sleep schedule in order to drop her off in the morning and getting used to having the house to myself again during the days.
I was thrust into a new and undesired role at my work a couple months ago, and I’m just now getting to the point where I feel like I have a handle on things. Still not enjoying it and I am looking for other options, but there might be light at the end of the tunnel if I stick it out here…
Finished my exams, most went pretty well. Feels so good to just do what you want without feeling bad because you‘re not spending the time learning.
