Passive: Shifting their pieces unpredictably, Xaku has a 25% Dodge chance to harmlessly phase through incoming enemy weapon attacks, while protected by a 25% Damage Reduction against area of effect damage.
Xata’s Whisper - Wield Void damage for all attacks from equipped weapons when activated.
Grasp of Lohk - Void Tendrils steal weapons from nearby enemies to use as your own floating, auto-targeting armament.
The Lost - Cycle through and cast one of the three abilities originating from the Warframes that make up Xaku: Accuse, Gaze, and Deny.
The Vast Untime - Temporarily shed the outer pieces of Xaku in a destructive blast, then stalk the battlefield in a new, swifter skeletal form. Enemies damaged by the body shrapnel are rendered weaker to Void damage.
Acquisition: Main blueprint will be awarded upon completion of the Heart of Deimos quest. Component blueprints are acquired from Cambion Drift Bounties.
While undoubtedly very powerful, Xaku wasn’t a frame I personally enjoyed playing. With a scaling damage auto-targeting ability and a full defense strip they are a powerhouse, but their defense relying entirely on chance and shield gating just wasn’t my cup of tea. They are the best box breaker frame and I have used them much for that purpose, though!
Because of that scaling damage, though, Xaku excels at Archon Defense in my experience.
Vampiric Grasp doesn’t have unlimited scaling, but it does have very good scaling on Health Conversion builds, if you want a good tanky Xaku.
Xaku is pretty much my main, though I only run vitality on him for defense, I don’t really feel there’s space for his augments though, or that they’re worth using.
I recommend putting condemn over xatas whisper for defense. Because you’re already running max range practically anywhere you face qhen you condemn will give you max overshields
I can definitely see that being decent but I generally do so much damage that it’s kind of a non-issue once gaze is up. If I do end up needing cc I just use accuse
Xaku’s absolutely nutty, but gets both boeing and tedious over time. Not doing anything to actively kill means his actual gameplay will get stale, and it gets tedious pretty quick to watch your 4 like a hawk to maintain uptime and having to shield gate hard for survival. Still love them though, I just can’t do a misson with them more than 20 minutes.
Xaku imo is my favorite generalist frame for completing the odd alert or some semi-random nonsense to complete. Really feels there something in their kit for each occasion. Or maybe I just like being able to go fast in a lower level mission and have little buddies help shoot stuff along the way. Biggest downside to them in my opinion is when your random squad mates refuses to work with the limitation of your more situation abilities.
