I’ve wanted to replay Oblivion for ~12 years, but originally held off once I heard that Skyblivion was in the works. Should I just stop waiting and play modded Oblivion? Are there enough QoL, hires texture, and other mods to get close enough?
You could finish a play through faster than I could list all the possible mods for you.
Download some big titty mods or whatever floats your boat and just do it

only thing i’d suggest is something like better leveled lists, because i hate that aspect of Oblivion with a burning passion. No glass and deadric armor for bandits.
Moo is a more complete gameplay overhaul, thats pretty popular.
textures is up to you, there are good upscales of the vanilla textures and there are well made replacements, so pick a comprehensive pack with a style you like.
