Exactly. I was laughing when they were doing that “promises made, promises kept” nonsense back in 2020, too. What fucking promises (besides massive handouts to the already wealthy individuals and corporations) were kept? Even that stupid fucking wall of his was a big nothingburger. Same with his notion of deporting all the browns or whatever. So much for even the bullshit promises, nevermind actually sound policy.

I am not a big fan of some of his personality traits but the hate shown to him has been extreme and has been accumulating over the years. He has been made into such a monster by his opponents, and this type of hate-filled rhetoric has ended with this assassination attempt. I believe it was Divine intervention that saved him from being killed. God did that. Why? In today’s world, we need a strong leader, and he is that.
