  • Yep. So many people flying their stupid Taco flags and wearing their “Let’s Go Brandon” shirts and so on just seemingly have no idea how normal people view Taco.

To me, it’s like watching the stupidest kid in the class with his underwear on his head and smearing feces on the wall. And I’m hardly alone in that view - Taco is and always has been a ridiculous and unserious dumbass. And these people think he’s not only the best Republican candidate for office, they think he’s the best they’ve ever had.

  • When the book of how America fell into a fascist dictatorship is written, there is going to be an entire chapter devoted to how you “journalists” failed the country. With your commitment to false equivalencies and “both sides-ism.” Acting as if Democrats were just as bad as Republicans. The threat of a Trump presidency to our democracy should have overruled anything you learned in journalism school. Accusations of bias should have been disregarded. Telling the American people Trump was a fascist dictator in waiting should have been your only concern.

Still, to this day, you journalists are failing us. Even more now that you have bent the knee to Trump. You should all be ashamed.

Well said. I’m just surprised the DP printed this, because the letter-writer is spot-on.

  • Can’t you journalists, for one day, honor the Army, our government, and our nation? Hammering Trump and his successes is not going to score points for you or the Democrat party.

Not that this letter-writer will be on lemmy, but FFS, these people cannot even get the name of the Democratic Party correct and then proceed to whine and whine about how, sniff, it’s so UNFAIR to everyone to notice that Taco’s stupid birthday party was a goddamn embarrassment. That’s on HIM, not anyone else. He’s the one insulting the military and the men and women in uniform, but his slack-jawed yokel base will never understand that, I guess.

  • Instead, parents should rely on vaccinating their children based on the recommendations of the Colorado Board of Health, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and their child’s physician. Vaccines are considered one of the most effective public health accomplishments of the 20th and 21st centuries. We should continue to go forward, not backwards.

100% agree, but with Bobby Brainworms and friends actively disrupting things, it might make it increasingly more difficult to get reality-based recommendations AND the reality-based medicine that this group of morons disagrees with.
