    Also the rooms are gonna be $300/night which is insane by my standards but I guess makes sense for a luxury hotel.

    This feels a bit like ticking the “offset my co2” box when booking a flight. I mean it’s cool that they planted 70000 trees but that has nothing to do with the building itself really, although i guess the money for the trees does.

      Indeed I kept looking for mention of “passive” architecture. I wonder if passive homes have caught on anywhere in the US.

    Are they using farmed meat though? The article mentioned wild game which would be relatively sustainable assuming it’s not poached. It could be venison from overpopulated deer which could be a pest to the local veg farms.
