I really didn’t know anything about her before today, besides whatever floated to the top of All.

Cool: She already has the title of “first woman president” which she held for a little over an hour:

On November 19, 2021, Harris served as acting president from 10:10 to 11:35 am EST, while President Biden underwent a colonoscopy. She became the first woman, and the third person overall, to assume the powers and duties of the U.S. presidency under Section 3 of the Twenty-fifth Amendment.

FLASHBACK: All you need to defeat Kamala Harris in a debate is to just list out her record

In the second debate in August, Harris was confronted by Biden and Representative Tulsi Gabbard over her record as attorney general.[237] The San Jose Mercury News assessed that some of Gabbard’s and Biden’s accusations were on point, such as blocking the DNA testing of a death row inmate, while others did not stand up to scrutiny. In the immediate aftermath, Harris fell in the polls following that debate.[238][239] Over the next few months her poll numbers fell to the low single digits.[240][241] At a time when liberals were increasingly concerned about the excesses of the criminal justice system, Harris faced criticism from reformers for tough-on-crime policies she pursued while she was California’s attorney general.[citation needed] In 2014, she defended California’s death penalty in court.[242]

The time for revolution is not now, my son. Let’s just fucking get to February intact.

This person doesn’t want a revolution. They want attention and validation. I wish for them only that they realize there are better paths forward, and that we all get to share is a brighter future.

If they need to be taken out for lunch or to just talk about things they geek out about, I hope they find someone to accommodate them.

Their posts indicate a lot of passion and free time which means there is an opportunity for them to make a big difference in this world.

I voted for Bernie as many times as I could legally. I wrote him in on my 2016 ballot even though in my state that gets your vote thrown out. I voted for him in our primary even after he withdrew. I think the way forward is taking that Killer Mike energy and using it to oust Donald Trump from the collective consciousness. All those problems are still there, but for the first time in many election cycles I feel a little safer and optimistic having Kamala as a candidate, even though I didn’t know a thing about her on Saturday. Our battle is against nihilism and apathy and greed, and against the kingdom of fear that Fox News has shat out at High Volume for the past 25+ years. We’ve been lied to. We’ve been used poorly. And the danger is still there, but there’s hope again. Tenuously. Maybe she is the revolution. Her and that astronaut.
