I don’t get it
Welcome to Farside comics. Either the joke is just absurdity or it relies on some obscure pop culture reference from pre 1970s to understand. My best guess here is it’s supposed to be like some phone sex joke since the human is using a duck call which is I guess is supposed to sound like a duck mating call?
Yeah I think you’re right - I got the phone sex bit but missed that the man in the phone box is using a duck whistle - good catch

Why is the date in the title not the date of release? It would make so much more sense.
