It’s a little rough this week, even for a speed sub group like OPScans. Hopefully they’re able to get a higher quality one up soon.

Scan quality is better and the translation has some changes. Biggest one to me is the last page on Egghead. OPScans made it initially sound like the Strawhats were barricaded or fortifying Egghead, but TCB doesn’t.
Another fking banger chapter. So sad it will on break next week TT_TT

Everything surrounding it has been bangers like you said, but now I want to see the capper. 100 battleships. Saturn. At least one confirmed admiral. Probably thousands of other Marines. And four Seraphim.

What a chapter. 10/10. Garp smashing in Pizzaro’s face, Koby living up to Garp’s expectations with “HONESTY IMPACT”. Remember this is the same pink-haired kid who was such a coward and wouldn’t even stand up to Alvida at first. Even Helmeppo got a chance to shine.
And Garp laughing as he died*. Going out like a D.

Fantastic chapter. They specifically call out that the fate of Garp is unknown. I wonder what they plan on doing with him in the future
I’m wondering if we’ll get a rescue Garp arc. I don’t think the Strawhats would take part.
But I could see Koby wrangling up a few Seraphim and the rest of SWORD to do it, only to find out Aokiji intentionally kept Garp alive.
I’d like to see TCB scans listed first personally, OPscans is not bad but their translations are a little iffy at times. In any case holy smokes, what a chapter! I LOVE the juxtaposition of Shiryu and Aokiji. Shiryu smiles when he stabs Garp, and is dressed all in black, utterly the opposite of justice. Aokiji when we first see him joining the BB pirates is dressed in half black half white, as if he is half a marine and half a pirate. This episode though we see Aokiji “beat” Garp, he was relieved Garp was okay after the wound, and when Garp goes down he is literally frozen with sadness, and visually he is now more white than black. To me it felt like Garp’s words were not directed just at Koby/etc but right to Aokiji’s face. Don’t even get me started on Garp laughing his ass off right to the end, what a chad.
Yeah, TCB is my preference too. But I read everything so it doesn’t matter to me.
Spoilers on Sunday-Tuesday, usually OPScans on Wednesday, TCB on Thursday and then the official on Sunday. I like seeing how accurate the spoilers may be (or not, there are a few times where they were intentionally wrong to trash characters like Sanji) and the different translation choices between OP, TCB, and the official.
