Lawson missed a race for this reason indirectly, they didn’t have enough parts to fix the Albon’s car, so Albon raced in Lawson’s car in Australia at the beginning of the season.
Yes aware of this but they were still the best at pit stops in maybe 2019/2020, it was one saving grace for them. Before the larger tyres came in only them and red bull were knocking out sub 2s stops on the regular.
I guess Dorilton Capital don’t value fast stops so much. Boggles my mind that teams work that hard on aero for hundredths of a second and then give away 2s on shit stops!
