Drove over 1500miles, camped a few nights, and did some off-roading. Was a great trip.

    It’s lovely there. I imagine it’s getting fairly toasty already…

    It’s the only place I’ve every paid to camp in the dirt (nothing around but a bear box). AFAIK there’s no free boondocking anywhere in the general area.

    Brought a black light so I could see the glow-in-the-dark scorpions.

      Yea unfortunately all the camping is paid and only allowed at marked sites. That being said, they all seemed very well kept and clean. We didn’t see any scorpions, but seeing massive spiders cross the road while driving 45 mph was concerning.
