“Before that it was gameplay strategies in Elden Ring. … All of this manufactured rage has been rammed down the throats of impressionable young people in just the last 45 days alone.”

I’m out of the loop on this one. What was the recent alt-right rage against Elden Ring? Does someone know or can they link me?

Hard to keep up with all the invented BS reasons to be upset.

I am not entirely sure either. I vaguely remember that there was some stuff about certain bosses from the DLC requiring specific character builds, making other character builds non-viable. At least I think that’s meant here, I can’t keep track of the “outrage of the week” either…

      Right?!

I’ve only seen people fellate the shit out of Elden Ring.

Personally it’s a watered down and padded version of a souls game and is easily the weakest game in the series.

Long time bully victim here, bullies like to rationalize their abuse, so both they will be seen as a hero and the victim will be further tormented. At the very worst, they made up conspiracy theories about my mother paying money to my teachers to give me “good” grades, because they saw it in Forest Gump and they thought I had intellectual disability. They even were angry at me when I didn’t “count in a funny way” like in the jokes (back in those days, we Hungarians had terrible “rtrd” jokes, which caused a lot of damage to the disabled community).

Bullies won’t be satisfied with some adjustments in your behavior. They either want you “to be fully fixed” (a lie often told by bullies, especially towards victims with a fat body and/or poor sport performance - while I’ve heard stories about some people actually managing to “stick it to them”, this rarely stopped the bullies in question), or “to disappear” (they rarely satisfied with “only from the internet”).

I have a fear that with things like this, these people will be more incentivized to continue harassment campaigns against game developers, and indies won’t have the same resources to protect themselves online.
