    But surely the oil companies will regulate themselves, right? The Free Market will just prefer responsible companies, right? And anyone who doesn’t like the lack of regulation is always free to just leave Texas, right?

      Damn, that’s a truly disgusting thing to say. Millions of completely normal average people in this state. I don’t care how bad a government is you can’t just go around saying you don’t care if the land burns, the land didn’t do anything wrong and the people don’t deserve to deal with that shit.
