Oh they know, at least on some level—which is why they bitch and moan if you mess with their Medicare. But a proposal like this would let too many ‘undesirables’ into the system, and they can’t have that!

It’s also why they want churches and churches only to minister to ‘unfortunates’. That way they can be sure their money is going to proper White, Good Christian poor people instead of those ‘icky brown people’.

I swear, this childish tribalism is going to be the death of our country.

Tribalism? We have deluded whites who still think that regime cares about them more than the rest. The only real benefit is the them jerking each other off lol

After civil rights, it has been steady decline for them but the racism among some and elitism among others makes them easy to govern for owner class.

New study shows what everyone already knows.
The same results as every other study.
    Let’s do another study.

Throw it on the Bonfire of Studies.

The people who care can’t do much, and the people who can do much don’t care.

Yes. Let’s also use the fires of that bonfire to fuel another climate study to show how burning things contributes to environmental decline. As people get more problems like COPD from the fires, we’ll have more studies on Medicare for all.

        It’s a perpetual energy machine.

Next study should probably involve guillotines.

Isn’t this exactly why we haven’t already switched?

The healthcare industry knows just how much they stand to lose so spending hundreds of millions of dollars annually on lobbying is just the cost of doing business.

Ok let me test that theory… you’re saying that for example, I need my leg looked at by the doc, and it will cost me say 20 bucks and not 400?! Ok let me see, 20 is less than 400, that checks out. I can pay 20 bucks easy for a 5 minute thing? Yeah 20 bucks sounds good.

The simplistic theory of capitalism says that capitalism is supposed to give us the best prices right? But Americans pay 2x per capita what Canadians pay for health care and 3x per capita what the British pay for the same health care. Actually we even have slightly worse health statistics and outcomes than they do. Which means that in the health care industry capitalism completely sucks at doing its basic job. It is totally unsuited to the health care industry and is really just a profiteering racket that sucks up our money. So why the f*ck would we want to keep using the old grossly inefficient system when there is a way better solution called “medicare for all”.
